ERIN MATHISON

Occupational Therapist

Erin is a qualified Occupational Therapist, registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO) and a member of the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists (OSOT). She graduated from McMaster University in 2004 with an Honours degree in Kinesiology (minor in Psychology) and graduated from the University of Toronto in 2006 with a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.​Erin has over 12 years’ experience working in the medical legal sector, providing assessment and treatment to individuals involved in motor vehicle accidents, including acquired brain injury, complex orthopedic injuries, chronic pain and psychological/behavioural impairments. She is certified in administering the Progressive Goal Attainment Program (PGAP), the Cognitive Orientation to daily Occupational Performance (CO-OP) approach, and performing Functional Capacity Evaluations (ARCON certified). ​Erin’s skills have been further developed through continuing education courses and direct clinical practice. Her experience includes, but is not limited to, In-Home Assessments, Attendant Care Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, Worksite Assessments, Functional Capacity Evaluations, and Catastrophic Determination Assessments. She also has extensive experience providing treatment in a variety of settings, to assist individuals in addressing physical, cognitive and psycho-emotional impairments following motor vehicle accidents.
